Post Shoot Reflection

1) Some challenges that I encountered while taking these photos were trying to find something original that no one has done yet, also trying to find something that really embraced the topic of the photo.
2) Some of the technical aspects that I found myself thinking about the most was making sure that the main focus of my photo was on the object that I was trying to take the picture of. Something that I did to make sure I was doing this correctly was checking that I had auto focus on so that the background would not distract from the main focus of the image.
3) A way that I found myself changing to accommodate the rules of composition of the photo was making sure that I had objects surrounding the main focus by framing it.

5) I don't think that I would be interested in shooting with these prompts again because it there are not many objects to take pictures up that would fit into these categories that I could find around Bowie.
6) I think it would be fun to shoot   -smooth or rough

-In their pictures they were really good at capturing photos that had objects that were large and in focus up close and then got smaller and less sharp as it went on .
- In their photos they also were good at capturing dark silhouettes up close and a nice colorful background behind it.
- Something that they could improve is making sure that their camera is straight on when they take the picture.

1. When I was looking at the photos of African wildlife I noticed that all of the animals in the pictures looked really majestic and fierce. These images also show the real beauty of all these creatures in their natural habitat. The Camera

1. The "Camera Obscura" effect is when light is coming from the camera and projecting on to the wall in a dark room. It is created when you are in a dark room and there is a small hole in one wall where it is focused and the outside scene is projected upside-down on the other wall. 2. In the 17th century the high quality glass lens helped man come one step closer to creating the modern camera. 3. The parts of the modern camera were a glass lens, a dark box, and a film. 4. modern digital cameras and Niepce's camera both allow light too pass through the lens, into the camera, and expose the film which both result in a picture. 5.  digital cameras capture the images with an electronic sensor called a CCD. 6. Magazines Part 2

1) Image Based- Image Based magazine covers are the most common because they have less objects in it which make it more clean/ simple and less busy looking. Celebrities or fashion usually take place on the cover, and side shots can cause a more dramatic feel to the photo. 2) Illustration Based- Illustration Based magazines are not so common now as they used to be in the mid 20's and 30's but are now used more for comedic effect, or to present something funny. The magazine covers that use illustrated covers are independently published magazines that do not rely on newsstand sales. Also the illustration can draw eyes to it if it is drawn properly but, at the same time it is risky. 3) Type Based- Type Based magazines are also not very common but more common than the illustration magazines.
