Milk Drop Coronet

1. I chose this image because it is a really dynamic photo, with bright colors that pop against the other colors.

2.  Harold Edgerton was the first person to take a good photo in the dark without bulky equipment, and the technology that he used laid the foundation for the modern electronic flash. Also some of his milk-drop photos were black and white and one was was put in the first photography exhibition at NYC museum of Modern Art in 1937. For his Milk Drop Coronet photo he used stop motion, which freezes the impact of a drop of milk on a table.

3. This picture proved that photography could advance human understanding of the world, and the technology that he used laid the foundation for the modern electronic flash.

1. When I was looking at the photos of African wildlife I noticed that all of the animals in the pictures looked really majestic and fierce. These images also show the real beauty of all these creatures in their natural habitat. As well as showing what life is like for those animals daily, catching and eating their prey, and taking care of their young. 2.  3. This is my favorite photo by Nick Brandt, because the background is nice, dark, and stormy, which makes the zebra in the middle of the frame pop. 4. The photography rules that are used in this photo is simplicity, because the plain, solid background brings the attention to the patterned zebra. 5. 1. The "Camera Obscura" effect is when light is coming from the camera and projecting on to the wall in a dark room. It is created when you are in a dark room and there is a small hole in one wall where it is focused and the outside scene is projected upside-down on the other wall. 2.
