The Camera

1. The "Camera Obscura" effect is when light is coming from the camera and projecting on to the wall in a dark room. It is created when you are in a dark room and there is a small hole in one wall where it is focused and the outside scene is projected upside-down on the other wall. 2. In the 17th century the high quality glass lens helped man come one step closer to creating the modern camera. 3. The parts of the modern camera were a glass lens, a dark box, and a film. 4. modern digital cameras and Niepce's camera both allow light too pass through the lens, into the camera, and expose the film which both result in a picture. 5.  digital cameras capture the images with an electronic sensor called a CCD. 6. 1. When I was looking at the photos of African wildlife I noticed that all of the animals in the pictures looked really majestic and fierce. These images also show the real beauty of all these creatures in their natural habitat. As well as showing what life is like for those animals daily, catching and eating their prey, and taking care of their young. 2.  3. This is my favorite photo by Nick Brandt, because the background is nice, dark, and stormy, which makes the zebra in the middle of the frame pop. 4. The photography rules that are used in this photo is simplicity, because the plain, solid background brings the attention to the patterned zebra. 5. Nick Brandt uses the 67 shutter lens when he is taking photos, although it is not a high tech type of lens, he likes to use it because of the way the photos look when he looks at them through the ground glass. 6. Photography was merely the best medium for him to express his feelings about animals, and the natural world....
