Best Song: "I like it"
   

- Cardi B's song "I like it", has blown up this year in 2018. It has won an Award-Winning Grammy and peaked #1. I was attracted to this song because, this year Cardi B herself has also become a very popular artist and it seemed fitting of the best song title.

Best Movie: Black Panther

- New Marvel movie, Black Panther came out this 2018 and is easily liked by anyone who watches it. It was given a 97% on the rotten tomato scale and definitely deserves the best movie of 2018 title.

Important News Story: March for our Lives

- Worldwide March for our Lives was a major event that occurred this past year. It attracted thousands of teens that were wanting to stand up against school shootings and gun violence to put a stop to it all.

Best Person: Meghan Markle

-Someone who I think deserves the best person of 2018 title is Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle. She has filled a major role in the media this past year when she went from being an actor to a princess and marrying Prince Harry.

Best Sports Story: Eagles Winning the Superbowl
 Patrick Robinson of the Philadelphia Eagles is overcome after the team defeated the New England Patriots 44-31 in Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis on Feb. 4. The Eagles, led by backup quarterback Nick Foles, clinched the first Super Bowl title in franchise history, setting off confetti on the field and raucous celebrations back home.

-I think that the Philadelphia Eagles winning the Super Bowl this year was definitely the best story of 2018.  The Eagles won the super bowl at a scoring of 41-33 against the patriots and it was their first time to win.

1. The "Camera Obscura" effect is when light is coming from the camera and projecting on to the wall in a dark room. It is created when you are in a dark room and there is a small hole in one wall where it is focused and the outside scene is projected upside-down on the other wall. 2. In the 17th century the high quality glass lens helped man come one step closer to creating the modern camera. 3. Magazines Part 2

1) Image Based- Image Based magazine covers are the most common because they have less objects in it which make it more clean/ simple and less busy looking. Celebrities or fashion usually take place on the cover, and side shots can cause a more dramatic feel to the photo. 2) Illustration Based- Illustration Based magazines are not so common now as they used to be in the mid 20's and 30's but are now used more for comedic effect, or to present something funny. The magazine covers that use illustrated covers are independently published magazines that do not rely on newsstand sales. Also the illustration can draw eyes to it if it is drawn properly but, at the same time it is risky. 3) Type Based- Type Based magazines are also not very common but more common than the illustration magazines.
