1. I chose this image because it looked like an older photo that I had seen before, what caught my eye was the head sticking out of the water. 2. This photo taken by british doctor  Robert Wilson in April 1934, of the "Loch Ness Monster". But he had also been sent wild-game hunter Marmaduke Wetherell to cover up an earlier fraud. London's Daily mail sent him to Scottland to find the monster and get more images but he ended up not getting anything. 3. When London Daily Mail discredited Wetherell, he returned back with a loch ness monster made out of a toy submarine. 4.  5. The Camera

1. The "Camera Obscura" effect is when light is coming from the camera and projecting on to the wall in a dark room. It is created when you are in a dark room and there is a small hole in one wall where it is focused and the outside scene is projected upside-down on the other wall. 2. In the 17th century the high quality glass lens helped man come one step closer to creating the modern camera. 3. The parts of the modern camera were a glass lens, a dark box, and a film. 4. modern digital cameras and Niepce's camera both allow light too pass through the lens, into the camera, and expose the film which both result in a picture. 5.  digital cameras capture the images with an electronic sensor called a CCD. 6. Self Portrait and Portraits Intro

1. Some tips that I found useful were "Alter your Perspective", "Experimenting with Lighting", and "Obscure Parts of your Subject". Environmental Portrait: I liked this photo because out of everything behind the woman, she is the main thing that stands out as well as the flowers she is holding. I liked this photo because the guy and the fire that he is holding is really bright compared to everything else in the background. Photography Self Portrait: I chose this photo because I loved how they incorporated the wintery, rainy, dark, grey theme of the photo into a part of the girl by putting it on her hair. I chose this photo because I liked how it looks like she is causing the tornado behind her because there is wind blowing her hair back which makes the photo look like it has movement to it.
